SRP operates modern compound mixing facilities designed to ensure consistent quality, efficient processing, and reliable compound performance. Over the years the company has continuously expanded its infrastructure to support the development and manufacturing of advanced elastomer compounds.
Traditionally, rubber compounds were mixed using two-roll mills. However, modern rubber manufacturing requires advanced equipment to achieve improved dispersion, uniform mixing, and consistent compound quality. To achieve this, SRP utilizes a combination of two-roll mills, kneaders, and advanced Intermix (Banbury type) mixers within its manufacturing process.
Approximately seven years ago, the company installed an Intermix internal mixer sourced from Indus, a German technology manufacturer with production facilities in Bengaluru. This mixer has a 25 kg batch capacity and provides improved compound dispersion and process consistency.
In addition to the primary mixing facility, SRP also operates a second compound mixing unit located in Mysuru, equipped with an Intermix mixer with a 50 kg batch capacity. Together these two facilities provide a combined mixing capacity of approximately 2 tons per day.
The current production level is approximately 1 ton of rubber compound per day, which provides additional capacity to support future growth and increased customer demand. The company also has available space within its facility and plans to further expand its infrastructure by installing a 100 kg batch Intermix machine in the future to strengthen its compound production capabilities.
This infrastructure allows SRP to maintain high levels of consistency, quality control, and production efficiency in its rubber compounding operations
SRP Specialty Compounds develops elastomer materials suitable for a wide range of industrial environments. These compounds are formulated to deliver reliable performance under demanding operating conditions including high temperatures, aggressive chemicals, and mechanical stress.
Selection and preparation of base polymers, fillers, and specialty chemicals to meet specific performance requirements.
Compounds are processed using Intermix (Banbury) mixers, kneaders, and two-roll mills to achieve uniform dispersion and consistent material properties.
Mixing is carried out in precision-controlled batches (25 kg – 50 kg capacity) across facilities in Bengaluru and Mysuru, ensuring process consistency and scalability.
Final compounds undergo strict quality checks and testing to ensure reliability, performance, and defect-free delivery.
SRP operates modern compound mixing facilities designed to ensure consistent quality, efficient processing, and reliable compound performance. Over the years the company has continuously expanded its infrastructure to support the development and manufacturing of advanced elastomer compounds.
All incoming polymers and chemicals are carefully inspected and verified to ensure they meet required quality standards before production.
Strict quality controls are maintained during mixing using standardized processes and advanced equipment, ensuring consistency across every batch.
Compounds are tested using UTM, MDR, Mooney Viscometer, ozone testing, thermal ageing, and specific gravity analysis to verify physical and processing properties.
For critical applications, additional validation is carried out through NABL-accredited laboratories (FTIR, TR10, compression set, etc.) before final release. 💡 Best way to show this on your website:
